Summary
Christian is a multi-percussionist from Munich, Germany. He is 26 years old and started his part-time PhD with the Division of Sport, Health and Exercise Sciences in October 2022. Christian combines his music career as a soloist and ensemble leader with rhythm-based training methods that he has developed for sport; in particular, professional basketball. Together with his supervisory team, Professor Costas Karageorghis, Dr. Liam O’Reilly and Professor Dr. Adina Mornell (University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich, Germany), Christian is formulating a scientific bases to his method and testing its efficacy across a range of sporting contexts. Further activities in which Christian participates include Running, Golf, Squash, Tennis and Soccer.
