I am a committed health care professional and educator, passionate about the delivery of high-quality patient care. I have a wide experience of working within inter-professional teams, delivering improvements in working practices within education and healthcare. I lead and teach across a number of health science programmes leading to a professional registration
I am currently leading the development of a new curriculum using new exciting and innovative approaches. Studying at doctoral level is providing the opportunity to undertake practitioner research leading to innovative changes to the programmes which will support development of future healthcare professional education. There are two central themes in relation to my career developing innovative ways of working in support of quality patient care and influencing practice through education and research.
