Research Interests
Louise's primary research interests lie in the area of youth justice and international children's rights law. She is particularly interested in the ways in which international children's rights principles can be used to develop domestic law and policy. Her most recent research also looks at children's right under the UNCRC relating to free participation in and access to creative arts and cultural life. She has a keen interest in children's participation, and is interested in conducting research that includes participatory methods with children and which values the contribution that can be made by listening to children's voices and experiences.
